Jeff is a WONDERFUL tour guide. The best way I can describe how he gives a tour is you feel like you are hanging out with a good friend who is sharing with you the secrets of their home town. He explains what witchcraft (wicca) is and isn’t. He teaches you the true history of Salem in an interesting easy to understand fun way. Because Jeff has a wealth of knowledge about Salem it’s best to get the tour first thing when visiting Salem because he can give you a better idea about things to do and great places to eat. He cares so much about helping others he will recommended other tours. You can tell he really loves Salem and his job. Everyone in our group raved about how much they enjoyed this tour. The price you pay for what you get is a deal. Heads up 180 Essex Street, is on stone brick road not made for cars, We circled around for a while before we figured this out.

This tour is great fun! It isn’t embarrassingly cheesy like some of them seem to be. The tour guide grew up in salem, and cares a great deal about the community. He is interesting and fun, and obviously did a lot of research to create his presentation. His tours are small and he is very accommodating. The two hour tour walks you all around the downtown areas. He points out locations and facts relating to the witch trials along the way. I enjoyed his tour of the graveyard most of all. If you’re looking for an informative tour, this is the one for you. It isn’t a ghost tour, but all the information presented doesn’t leave room for want. Head over to O’Neils for a drink after the tour, they have great live music!
Amazing tour with super knowledgable native son of Salem! Its focus is the witch trials and the events that led up to them. It’s more history rather than a “ghost tour.” Easy trip out from Boston (about 30 min ride from N Station.)
