I did this walking tour with my husband and some friends. We had such a great time learning about some of the the stories that happened in the area. It was also great because we had a small group, so we were able to get to talk our tour guide a lot and ask questions. She was very accommodating to me especially, because I’m hard of hearing, and when I told her, she made sure to speak loudly so that I could hear clearly. I loved that our tour guide really got into her character and dressed in period clothing. That made it that much more fun. She’s a wealth of knowledge and really knows her stuff. Besides all that, it’s pretty cool to be able to walk around Colonial Williamsburg at night, when there’s less people out.
Lowest Review
We attended the Witches tour and the Ghost tour on two separate nights. Both tours were not that impressive but were vastly different. The Witches tour, the guy didn’t really know what he was talking about and at the Ghost Tour, the woman went into full character and even called photography ‘sketching.’ If you are going to go on either tour, get a groupon.
