My niece recently came to visit and even before she got here she told us she wanted to take this tour. So we got tickets and I have to say it was a great time. Not only was our tour guide Gordon funny and thoughtful, he was also well versed in the spookier side of Portland, which even if you are skeptic, is still a lot of fun. He also brings a knowledge of Portland as she grew and a history of the docks and the town that is both fun and informative. Definitely worth the time to check out if you are visiting or even if you are a resident.

Meh, ok if you are a tourist and like the over dramatic. This is for those who like “legends”, stories, and a guide who enjoys the audience, attention. Not for those who are really into historic details. It is mostly a walking tour outdoors with storytelling. You don’t tour buildings or historic spaces. Entertainment, yes. Super professional or down to earth, no.
