Group of 6 had a blast with James III our tour guide and Eric. They made it so much fun with history and joking. Never rushed us and enjoyed seeing the city via Segway. We went on the tasting tour which allowed us to stop at 3 locations to have a “taste” of local Charlotte.

3-4 hr southern food bike tour review $385 for 5 of us and a big disappointment. Our tour guide said he was a fan of the history of clt so he’d be talking about the city. The only thing about the city we heard was about a chicken statue that looked like a disco ball. This was very unorganized. The first 20 min the guide had to adjust our seats on the bikes. I don’t understand why they don’t have the lever adjusters. None of the restaurants were expecting us. There was not an advantage of being on a tour. Our guide clearly did not know what tour we were on and kept saying we were running an hour behind? He must have thought we were on the 2.5 hr tour. We had requested Segway tour which they were trying to work out and asked if we could come early so we were psyched. We showed up and had a bike tour 🙁 We bended over to accommodate them but they certainly did not us. What we came out of today is a learning of our guides personal life. One of our 3 stops was at a market and he grabbed 2 tubs of pimento cheese and a bag of chips and we sat a at picnic table. Weird. My recommending is to rent a bike in uptown for $5 and do your own tour. Big disappointment – not a tour at all really.
