Six taste did a great job providing a delicious dive, plate-first into the Taiwanese cuisine. Michael brought the whole culture alive for us. At each restaurant he illuminated the historical and social context of the food, he also gave us personal stories from generations of his family. Michael made us feel like old friends, sitting around the kitchen table. The history becomes so very real when it’s told in the first person. He was genuine, helpful and full of knowledge. He was open to all questions, and made certain that every member of the tour was having a great time. I would drive 40 miles to Arcadia to visit the restaurants Micheal introduced to us. He kept our attention during the entire tour and had many so many insider tips about every menu item (not just what we tasted). I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to be introduced to a new culture by a local to the area and the culture. Thank you again for the fascinating time, Six Taste! I can’t wait to take all your tours!

I took my team from work on a team building event and we did the Hollywood food tour. There were 7 of us and we loved the tour. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and fun to be with. We enjoyed all of the places we ate at and were impressed by the owners and managers at these restaurants taking time to talk with us about their restaurants. We were so full at the end! Would definitely recommend this tour. I will definitely visit these restaurants again.
