I’m always trying to learn more about my city and so I figured a walking tour would be fun. I went on the Cemetery and Voodoo history tour with Mike and it was fantastic! He gave us great backstory about the origins of Voodoo in New Orleans and Marie Laveau. Just as I was starting to get tired of walking, we stopped at the Basin Street Station which is an old train depot turned visitor’s center/museum. A nice break in the air conditioning rejuvenated me for the second half of the tour which included Louis Armstrong Park and a real voodoo shop! I liked this tour (and Mike, super cute tour guide!) so much that I went on the Ghost Adventure tour that same weekend. Ghost stories aren’t really my thing but I learned some interesting history and had fun with all the other people on the tour. I would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting the city or looking to learn more if you already live here

I know this is probably not a good review. But here’s my story. I show up at this Bar , where we are to meet. There is tour guide. We talk. He’s see I’m using a cane. I’m just getting over a broken leg, plus I have a bad knee. So tour starts, we start walking down the street. He takes the group and basically leaves me on the side of the street. I catch up at every stopping point but miss half the story. Then once we get to Bourbon Street and the crowds get thick he looses me. I’m there and they are gone. Ok I get it I was walking slow. New Orleans has some of the worst sidewalks. Anyway I think I should get a refund because I didn’t get anything I paid for. These guys will not return my phone call.
