I was a little annoyed to start because the company requires 48 hours notice to book the tour, but when you’re on vacation in NOLA for only a couple of days, you may not be able to. When I explained that I had purchased the Groupon and wouldn’t be here for 48 more hours the girl on the phone said I should just book it online. Now, why you’re allowed to book it online less than 24 hours but not over the phone is beyond me. Especially when their website isn’t that great on phones and on vaca, that’s all I have to use… So why did I still give it 5 stars? Because our tour guide was AMAZING. Andy is the best! He talked about how he had hunted ghosts for 3 years and his history a bit which made the tour even more fun. He was incredibly patient and would wait for the whole group, answered questions with ease and made things funny. You could tell he really loved his job which always makes things more fun overall. Being from Philly you walk around our city and see this ghost tours quite often, but most of them are just telling stories. The cool thing about Andy was not only did we get the fun cool stories, but we also got a history lesson. He taught us how the French Quarter got started, how NOLA overcame yellow fever etc etc. Coming here without any real knowledge of which are the fun placed to go, I left the tour with a list of businesses I wanted to visit before I leave. Highly recommended tour. Fingers crossed you get Andy. Also have to say, tour guides from other companies were SUPER RUDE when walking past and Andy kept it cool, polite and never bothered any other group. I respected him for that.

The guide seemed like a nice gal but she totally ditched us after telling us she would wait for us while we grabbed a drink and a smoke during the break. Worst part is the company didn’t make any efforts help us locate the guide to finish our tour when we called. Pretty bummed as the last two stops were suppose to be the best. Its too bad… as we actually captured a super clear image of an apparition at Muriel restaurant. The restaurant host even confirmed the image was of Pierre Antoine Lepardi Jourdan himself and we would’ve gladly shared the pic with the tour to allow them to promote their tour.. I guess Its their loss..
